Learn how to track phone calls or orders from your PPC SEM campaign. Here is an easy way.

Step 1. Generate a unique “promo code” by placing all your keywords in a database and assign each of them an individual ID. It is very easy to do this by using Excel.

Step 2. Tag your keyword destination URL with the individual ID, for example, http://www.example.com/mobile-phone.php?promo=3456.

Step 3. When the user clicks on the Google url, the unique ID will be displayed as the promo code on the webpage.

Step 4. The reps on the phone must ask for that promo code.
